Workout Reservation Cancellation Policy

Sometimes life gets in the way.  We get it.

When it does you may need to cancel your workout reservation.  Unfortunately, we can't have everyone else's emergencies become our emergency so there is a cut-off after which you're committed to your reservation.  Here are the time limits on those constraints:

5 am & 6 am workouts and weekends / Holiday schedule - 12 hours before.

All other workouts - 2 hours before.

12 hours is a little excessive but our only other option is 6 hours before which isn't long enough.  Ideally, it would be 7 and 8 hours prior for 5 am and 6 am workouts respectively meaning that your deadline would be to sign up at 10 pm the night before but this option doesn't exist today.  A help ticket has been issued to our software supplier to remedy this.  Holiday schedules are usually made to adapt to demand.  When we see high demand we typically add classes.  There's nothing more annoying than adding classes to accommodate demand and then having people cancel once we've sunk the labor cost.

A 2 hour limit for other workouts gives latecomers the chance to sign up closer to start time but gives us enough warning to ensure we have an instructor scheduled and to send out any schedule changes if the workout slot doesn't run.

All workouts have the facility to reserve a spot right up to the start of the workout.

If you're not certain that you can make the workout start time then you can always gamble on a walk-in.  Remember, you can see how many have signed up for a workout by checking the schedule in the Deathproof App.

All reservations and cancellations should be made using the app.  Please don't text, call, or message us.  We may not be able to respond in time.  If you don't manage to cancel within the limits then yes, you lose a pass.  This is no different than your Drs, dentists chiropractors, etc which normally have a 24 or even 48-hour policy for exactly the same reason.  We wish we had more capacity so that every workout would have walk-ins available and a crystal ball to know when people won't make it without them having to cancel but life isn't that kind.  Currently, this is the best we can do to make it manageable on all sides.  Thanks for your understanding.  It keeps everything running smoothly and allows us to work on the important stuff rather than juggling schedules all day.
